Caroline George


Dr. Caroline George is the owner and Chief of Staff of Aliso Beach Animal Clinic. Dr. George has been interested in animals and veterinary medicine since she was 7 years old. She landed her first job at age 16, working as a kennel attendant in a local veterinary hospital. Dr. George also worked as an Animal Control Officer for Orange County prior to attending veterinary school. She graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Dr. George also earned a BS in Animal Science from UC Davis and a MS in Agriculture from Cal Poly Pomona. Dr. George’s special interests include internal medicine and dentistry. Her interests outside of the clinic include spending time with family, studying the bible, skeet shooting, ocean swimming and running. She lives with her husband and 3 dogs in Newport Beach.

Alissa Brown

Relief Doctor

Dr. Brown is a compassionate and devoted small animal veterinarian who is committed to providing the highest standard of veterinary care to her patients. She completed her veterinary education at Western University of Health Sciences. Following graduation, she completed a year long internship at California Veterinary Specialists providing her with intensive training in surgery, internal medicine and emergency care. Dr. Brown’s areas of interest are ultrasonography, preventative care and geriatric medicine. Her first babies are two cats, Link and Knox. Dr. Brown and her husband have three daughters and enjoy all the family time they can get.

Fred Brewer


Dr. Fred Brewer is a board certified (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) veterinary cardiologist. He is a native of southern California, growing up in Long Beach where he attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School. He later graduated from UCLA with a BS in Psychobiology. He received his veterinary degree from Cornell University in 2009. Following the 4 years at Cornell University, he completed a 1-year general rotating internship at the California Animal Hospital Veterinary Specialty Group in West Los Angeles with Dr. Stephen J. Ettinger.
This was followed by a 3 year Cardiology residency at Cornell University, where he was trained to perform minimally invasive interventional procedures such as pacemakers, balloon valvuloplasties, and PDA occlusions. He is experienced in the management of complex arrhythmias and the treatment of refractory heart failure. In addition to providing the best quality of care for his patients, Dr. Brewer is an avid surfer and enjoys playing water polo, traveling, and photography.
