In order to provide quality care for the pets of Laguna Beach, we’ve developed a careful approach that focuses on biological function, emotional wellbeing, and safety. Our approach is about providing a wide range of services, from laser therapy to emergency care. All these elements are here to help bring an animal to full health and wellness. In addition to caring for regular household cats and dogs, we also take in exotic animals that need specialized attention.
We’re staffed with two experienced veterinarians: Dr. Caroline George and Dr. Hayter. Before becoming the Chief of Staff of Aliso Beach Animal Clinic, Dr. George had a lifelong interest in taking care of animals. After earning her veterinary credentials in animal science, she began working as a full-time veterinarian, taking a special interest in animal medicine and dentistry. Then there’s Dr. Hayter, a native of Tustin, California. Dr. Hayter earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, where he studied internal medicine, dentistry, and exotic animals. Today, he works as an experienced veterinarian, and has treated exotic animals like cheetahs and polar bears. Together, this pair works diligently to create the veterinary care for their patients.
Our dedicated team at Aliso Beach Animal Clinic combines experience and compassion to provide exceptional care for all animals, including exotics. Kat, our Practice Manager and Registered Veterinary Technician, leads the way with her expertise in small animal dentistry and emergency care. Shannon, our Lead Technician, is preparing to become a Registered Veterinary Technician and brings a strong team spirit to every case.
Anneliese and Annabelle, our Veterinary Assistants, contribute their backgrounds in biology and ecology, with Anneliese aspiring to specialize in Exotic or Zoo medicine and Annabelle drawing on her experience at the Santa Ana Zoo. At the Aliso Beach Animal Clinic, we provide services in preventative care, emergency care, pet boarding, euthanasia, laser therapy, grooming, microchipping, senior pet care, surgery, and acupuncture.
